Bustle
A bustle is a set of hooks, loops or buttons that lifts a long skirt or train off the ground for easier movement. It lets you walk, dance and sit without stepping on the hem, and it is added by a tailor, often at a fitting. Bustles are most associated with bridal gowns, but any long skirt or train can be bustled. Ask about the style and the time needed, and practice moving in the dress.
