Tulle
Tulle is a fine, lightweight netting used to add volume and texture to skirts and overlays. Layers of tulle create the full skirts of ball gowns and prom dresses, and a single layer can add a soft overlay. It is airy but can snag, so handle it carefully and store it without crushing the layers. Tailors treat beaded tulle as delicate work that may take longer.
